Summary
Home from the sea to a hero’s welcome, Sir Francis Chichester. As he neared the end of his journey, Pathe News cameramen followed Gipsy Moth into Plymouth Harbour to record, in colour, the tremendous scene at the end of the most historic voyage of our time. As darkness fell, the cameramen recorded the final moments of this historic chapter in black and white.
