Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Amy Mollison Returns Home. DESCRIPTION: Mrs Mollison’s triumphant return after breaking both Cape records attracts crowds to Croydon. SHOTLIST: Lion hearted Mrs Mollison lands at Croydon after having won both outward and return records to the Cape. Aerial shot of the plane in the air and coming in over Croydon to land. Plane lands. Shot of crowd craning necks to see the arrival. The plane is taken along by mechanics. Crowds line staircase outside building. She moves up to dais as the crowds cheer. With her husband she greets various people. She speaks. leaving the dais followed by crowd. They drive through waving and cheering crowds.
