Summary
Field Marshal Montgomery flies to German capital to investigate situation after collision of British air-liner and Soviet fighter. German prisoners of war return to Berlin from Russian zone, being no longer fit for work. In Washington, Henry Wallace denounces US war fever, while President Truman signs Marshall Aid bill. From Greek front, Paramount brings first pictures of rebel General Markos. In Athens, 2,000 children arrive from villages threatened by rebels. In Rome, military parade of 25,000 shows government’s ability to maintain order during forthcoming elections.
