Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The King’s Jubilee. SHOTLIST: Drive to St Paul’s. Shot of the carriage in procession leaving the Palace. Elevated shot of the procession. Coach past camera. Elevated shot of the procession through the Mall. Shots of same passing Temple Bar. The Lord Mayor hands sword to the King as the coach stops. He hands it back and the procession goes on its way. The carriage bearing the Duke and Duchess of York and the Princesses arrive at St Paul’s. The alight. The Duke and Duchess of Kent arrive and alight. The Prince of Wales alights and salutes the Queen of Norway as she alights from the carriage. The King and Queen arrive. They alight. Shot of the fanfare heralding the Royal Pair. They enter the Cathedral. Shot of the cross at the top of the Dome of St Paul’s. Interior of St Paul’s. Elevated shot, with the sun streaming through, in beams. Shot of the assembly in the Cathedral.
