Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Royal Wedding. DESCRIPTION: HRH The Duke of Gloucester and Lady Alice Scott. SHOTLIST: Lady Alice Scott leaves her home and enters car. Shots of the drive. The carriage enters the gates of Buckingham Palace for the ceremony in the small chapel. The Duke and Duchess appear on the balcony. They are followed later by the King and Queen. The crowds cheer. The two Princesses and the Duchess of York are seen on the balcony. Shot of the King with Princess Margaret and Princess Elizabeth on the balcony. Shots of the still photographs. The happy pair leave the Palace for honeymoon, in an open carriage. The procession proceeds to the station and enters train. The bridesmaids etc. bid them farewell.
