Summary
NoS synopsis: The funeral service of an Indian soldier who has died of wounds, Alexandria, summer 1915. The body, on the seashore at Alexandria, is wrapped in a burial cloth and tended by Indian soldiers. One soldier takes a bucket and pours seawater over the body. According to the caption the body was burnt, but this is not seen.
