MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Mayor’s Show Is Occasion of Dignity - for Impudence. DESCRIPTION: The annual Lord Mayor’s Show processes through the streets of the City, as Sir Harry Twyford becomes the new Lord Mayor. SHOTLIST: Shot of the New Lord Mayor Sir Harry Twyford taking the oath. Shots of the Old Mayor Broadbridge handing over sword and chain of office. Shots of other parts of the ceremony including the bearing on the mace. Procession to the Guildhall with the mace. Shots of the Lord Mayor’s Show. Soldiers in full dress on horseback.
