- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Duchess of York Pays Promised Visit to HMS York. DESCRIPTION: Her Royal Highness visits HMS ‘York’ named and launched by her in 1928 and now at Chatham. SHOTLIST: Panning shot of the ship lying at anchor. Duke and Duchess of York alight from car and shake hands with naval personage. They board ship and stand on deck as single file of sailors march past. Duke taking the salute at the same time. The visitors leave the ship and go to their car. Sailors line deck, raise caps and give "Three Cheers".
