Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Garmisch Ski-Jumping. SHOTLIST: Garmisch, the Winter Olympic resort in the Bavarian Alps, opens its ski-jumping season with a "Christmas Contest" on the small Olympic jump on the Gudi Hill. Over 200 enthusiastic spectators flanked the slide. Toni Eisgruber (Germany) was the hero of the day, whose two fifty metre jumps left even Norway’s Aces, Sorensen and Palm, far behind.
