- All roads lead to the Historia Downs. Wireless was used by police traffic controllers for the first time and with great success. The King had a right royal reception. Wet and dismal conditions did not prevent a huge attendance ... They’re off! Everyone of the runners "looked a picture" on parade ... In the Paddock. Tattenham Corner.
