Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Army Manoeuvres in Bavarian Alps. SHOTLIST: The Alpine Mountain Artillery carry out their difficult winter manoeuvres in the Bavarian Alps. On skis and snowshoes a long column winds its way up the mountain, leading mules - sole means of transporting guns and equipment. Through a pulley mounted on the peak of a mountain, a gun is drawn up an 80 metre high wall. Finally hauled up to the top the gun is mounted and fired. By torchlight at night the troops make their way back to the "Barbara Hut", and gather round the camp fire for a song.
