- Summary
- commemorating 100,000 Scottish men and women who fell in the war - one of the most beautiful in Europe - opened by the Prince of Wales. Afterwards the King and Queen and Princess Mary came and placed their wreaths on the memorial. To impressive strains of "Scots wha hae wi’ Wallace bled", the Colours and guidons of each unit were placed in the Hall of Honour.
