MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Launching New Cruiser. DESCRIPTION: She launches the Cruiser ‘HMS Belfast’ and opens the new airport. SHOTLIST: Mrs Neville Chamberlain launches the HMS Belfast, which is the new "Southampton" class cruiser, built in accordance with the rearmament programme. Opening Belfast Air Port - CARD 32895 Mrs Neville Chamberlain accompanied by Lord and Lady Craigavon, opens the new airport at Belfast Lough. RAF Hawker "Hart" machine takes off in formation.
