Summary
Pathe cameraman secures first exclusive pictures of gallant rescue attempts by sea and by air, of lost Commander Nobile and crew of polar airship "Italia". Captain Larsen, sent by the Norwegian Government, is first to arrive on the scene. The relief ship "Braganza" sets out on the great quest. Major Maddelena’s (the noted Italian ace) first attempts were unsuccessful, later he located and rescued the lost airmen adrift on the pack ice. Further pictures will appear in the Pathe Gazette in the early future.
