Summary
Pathe Gazette presents first and exclusive pictures of "The Shannon Scheme" which will provide electricity for light, heat and power for whole of the Irish Free State. 13 million tons of earth and millions of tons of rock will have been removed when 9 mile long canal is finished. 1 1/2 gallons of water per minute will pour through these pipes 20 feet in diameter to the turbines 100 feet below.
