Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hitler Witnesses Military Parade. SHOTLIST: HM King Victor of Italy, and Benito Mussolini, and Adolf Hitler stage a terrific military parade in honour of the German Leader’s visit to Rome. Herr Hitler In Rome - CARD 33257 Hitler arrives by train & is greeted by King Victor Emmanuel & Mussolini. Troops marching etc. Shots of military parades. Naval Reviews (Hitler’s Visit in Rome) - CARD 33280 In honour of Hitler’s visit to Rome, Mussolini stages a terrific naval display. At the Port of Naples, the King of Italy, Hitler, Prince Umberto and the Duce board the Royal Launch and are taken to the flagship "Cavour". The review in which more than 200 battleships and 100 submarines take part, is held under the shadow of Vesuvius and ends with the firing of a massed salute.
