Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scenes in Hankow in the French Concession. SHOTLIST: Inside the French Concession, in Hankow, troops prepare for the defence of the concession. Francis Garner and Admiral Charner converse. On The River American gunboats prepare to meet all eventualities. On board the SS "Luzon" Rear Admiral David M Le Breton, and Ambassador Nelson T Johnson discuss the situation. Military Advisor Leaves Hankow. General Baron A von Falkenhausen leaves Hankow at the command of the German Government. Many foreigners leave in trains with flags of the respective nations painted on the carriages. CU group of Chinese children. Tanks in the streets. Barricades.
