MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Temple of Peace Opened. DESCRIPTION: In Cathay Park, Cardiff. SHOTLIST: At Cathay’s Park the Welsh National Temple of Peace and Health is dedicated and opened. In spite of the rain Sir Charles Bird opens the proceedings with a speech. Then the architect, Mr Percy Thomas hands a golden key to Mrs Minnie James, a war bereaved mother who opens the building. Women representing mothers of all nations are present and among them are Mrs Nixon, Mrs Ball, Madame Dumontes, Mrs Struben, Mrs Moller and Mrs Floyd.
