Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Flight Over the Andes. SHOTLIST: For the first time in history the highest peak of the Andes, Mt. Huascaron, is flown over and filmed. Snow covers the peaks which give a wonderful picture of clouds and grandeur. Railway In The Peruvian Andes - CARD 35374 Movietone’s cameraman travels through the Andes on the highest standard gauge railway in the world. By the line-side are herds of llamas and the Tanasinga Glacier makes a wonderful sight. When a certain elevation has been reached oxygen is administered to the travellers.
