Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bomb Deflector at Hounslow. DESCRIPTION: Tests take place at Hounslow. SHOTLIST: At Hounslow a new device for deflecting bombs is tested. It consists of concrete balls about the same size as a football which are placed above the building and have the effect of deflecting the delayed action bomb before the explosion occurs. A crane is used to lift a bomb-shaped weight which is allowed to fall on imitation buildings.
