Summary
The new Albert Canal is the scene of tragic disaster when water is found trickling through one of the embankments. Suddenly the whole embankment becomes covered with cracks and the ground begins to move. One engineer loses his life but farmers are warned in time and there is no further loss of life when the water sweeps the countryside.
