Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lebrun Visits the Opera. DESCRIPTION: Their Majesties host a Gala evening for the President at Covent Garden Opera. SHOTLIST: Their Majesties await the President and his wife, in the foyer. They greet them affectionately, and then proceed upstairs to the ballet. General views of the show and of the audience rising to sing "La Marseillaise". Afterwards the royal family bid President Lebrun and Madame Lebrun goodbye. The performance is "The Sleeping Princess" by Tchaikovsky.
