- Summary
- Roosevelt makes a hundred mile tour of some of America’s defence centres. At America’s newest and largest airport, he watches a mass flight of America’s latest warplanes. At other military key points he sees tanks put through their paces, and visits the Martin Aircraft plant where a new type of naval flying boat and some of the world’s fastest bombers are being produced. He then goes on to the army’s chief gun-testing centre where an 8 inch rail-mounted gun is made ready for firing.
