Summary
In an effort to speed up delivery of letters the Post Office introduces Airgraph letters. The letter is photographed onto a small film thus reducing it to a fraction of its original size. Over four thousand "reduced" letters weigh only one pound. The film is then sent by aeroplane to its destination where the letters are enlarged and trimmed ready for delivery, almost back to their original form.
