Summary
Entry into the town of Diredows which is deserted, the population having fled to the capital. General Wetherall’s entry into Addis Ababa where he accepts the surrender of the city. Then together with the South African commander Brigadier Dan Pienaar he goes to the Hall of Battle to read the official proclamation to the Abyssinian Chiefs, a moment they have long waited for.
