- Summary
- People in the streets of Odessa erecting barricades with sandbags, etc. Every effort is made to halt the German onslaught. The first of the evacuees start to leave. Russian sailors leave from their base at Sebastopol to play their part in the evacuation. On their way there is an encounter with enemy aircraft but they manage to fight them off.
