Summary
Throughout Australia the fear of invasion which has long been spoken about has now becomes a reality and defence is the problem to be coped with. With a coastline of seven thousand miles this isn’t easy. Scenes in Victoria, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney as well as along the coast, show Defence Corps hard at work sandbagging buildings, digging trenches and putting up barbed wire defences.
