Summary
British weapons and supplies are unloaded at the Persian port of Bandar Sharpur to begin an 872 mile journey to Russia, first by rail on the trans-Iranian railroad and then on reaching the Transcaucasian border trucks are assembled, supplies are transferred, Russian drivers take over and continue the journey.
