- Speed is essential in unloading merchant ships in Malta harbour. Supplies are then dispersed to one of the many island supply dumps. Lord Gort is seen at Malta’s first war-time Investiture when he presents medals to fifty men from Malta’s three services, the Malta Police and ARP.
