Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mauretania Leaves. DESCRIPTION: The 34,000 ton liner is moved from Birkenhead across the Mersey to Gladstone Dry Dock. SHOTLIST: Leaving her fitting out basin for dry-dock is the "Mauretania", where her rudder is to be fitted. Tugs manoeuvre her into the dock where, after the water has been removed, the rudder is fitted.
