Summary
Pathe cameraman Terry Ashwood enters Benghazi for the third time when the 8th Army took over the second chief seaport town of Libya. He moves around the town putting on film things of interest, including the harbour which is choked with wreckage of Axis shipping. Also the Benghazi Power Station which has been completely wrecked by allied raiders. General Montgomery arrives on a tour of inspection. Ports along the Libyan Coast are opened by the Navy as soon as they are taken over by the Army. Captured German planes left at airfields are converted into RAF planes and the new ones are examined for new modifications or equipment. RAF raids on Tripoli take place hourly day and night.
