Summary
US Rangers undergo realistic war training on an assault course. [80 ft] US army men arrive at Guadalcanal to replace American Marines who took the island and cleared it of all Japanese. The Marines are seen leaving the island, together with mementoes which they have taken from the Japanese. [72 ft] To counteract the perambulator problem in the US mothers have taken to carrying their babies on their back, papoose style. [48 ft] New Dutch Princess is seen for first time, she is Princess Juliana, and born in Canada. [49 ft] Air Chief Marshal Tedder, Air C-in-C Mediterranean, arrives at Allied HQ North Africa, to take up his new appointment.
