- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit - Montreal. DESCRIPTION: The King and Queen in Montreal are welcomed by school children. At night they appear on the balcony of the Windsor Hotel. SHOTLIST: Elevated shot over Montreal. Their Majesties arrive by train and drive in the streets amid great cheering crowds to the Montreal Stadium, where they are greeted by school children. They drive to Mount Royal, and see the Jacques Cartier Bridge over the St Lawrence. On the Mount, the King unveils a tablet in commemoration of the Royal visit. Then at night they visit the Windsor Hotel where a dinner is held. Their Majesties make a balcony appearance.
