Synopsis
One of Shakespeare’s earliest and shortest plays, "The Comedy of Errors" centres on a family catastrophe. A Merchant, Egeon has identical twin sons who are both names Antipholus. To him, it makes perfect sense that he should purchase identical twin boys to act as slave for his sons. He does this and names the slaves Dromio. Everything is fine until a shipwreck separates sons, slaves and parents - forcing Egeon to go a quest to reunite them all. Before all ends well, however, Egeon has to negotiate his way out of a death sentence his manages to acquire in Ephesus.
