- CENTRE STAGE [Series RADIO VICTORY ARCHIVE] One of a series of popular arts programmes called Centre Stage. Presented by MATT HOPPER. Music. TRACK 1- Where the money comes from? To fund Arts? Matt Hopper interviews Adrian Edmonson, a star in the film The Supergrass. He talks about his role in the film and comic films. Music. Then, another interview with the actress Jennifer Sonda, in the same film. Track 2- Naomi, an artist from Chichester talks about the Arts Exhibition in the street in the town of Chichester open to the public where students and local artists can sell their paintings and they only give 25 percent to the Committee, from the sale. To know about where the money comes from to fund Arts, Matt Hopper interviews local authorities to investigate. He talks with the local authority of Southampton Arts Council, then to Lucy Brett who looks at the situation in Wessex Arts Council. An interview with Bob Larby about a stage play The Good Life, at the moment presented in Nuffield Theatre. He is the writer of this play and talks about philosophy of life, he says that he gets his inspiration from the experience of life, from the observation, very simple. Then, the presenter announces all the events of Arts in the Region, and Paul Lewis gives the bulletin on Arts News. [Box 7]
