Career
In 1948, the London Passenger Transport Board was nationalised and became the London Transport Executive. This body was in charge of the all of London’s public transport: trams, buses, trains and the underground. Between 1947 and 1955, the LTE sponsored it’s own cinemagazine, the Cinegazette.
In 1963, the London Transport Executive became the London Transport Board, reporting directly to the Minister of Transport.
