The Nigerian novelist Ibrahim Tahir was a regular presenter of early editions of the ‘New Commonwealth’ version of London Line (1964-1979), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv]. These editions were shown in countries which had recently joined the Commonwealth, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. He appeared in one of the first issues, ‘GUIDE DOGS’, London Line No.2 released in 1964.
