John Bankole-Jones was one of the regular presenters of the ‘New Commonwealth’ versions of London Line, a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv], initially for the Commonwealth Relations Office [qv]. These editions were shown in countries which had recently joined the Commonwealth, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. He appeared in one of the earlier issues, ‘OXFORD SEMINAR ON AID TO DEVELOPING COUNTRIES’, London Line No.80 released in 1966.
