Career
Phil Jay was a soundman on London Line (1964-1978), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv]. His earliest credits, such as ‘CROWN JEWELS’, London Line (Colour series 2) No.7, are for the colour versions which were shown in countries such as the United States, Canada and Australia. He also worked on issues of the ‘New Commonwealth’ version of the programme which was shown primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. He is credited in one of the earlier issues, ''Marjorie Sigley’ London Line No.174, released in 1968.
