Career
Wilfrid Thomas was an actor in the 1930s and 1940s. He was a regular commentator for Colour Pictorial between 1962 and 1969. His first credit is for ‘A POLCIEMAN’S LOT’ in Colour Pictorial No.398 of August 1962. Others include, ‘BALLAD OF THE BARD’ in No.497 of July 1964 and ‘BODY PAINT’ in No.673 of November 1967. He combined this work with freelance work for television as well, narrating ‘Seven Up!' in 1964 for television. His last newsreel credit is ‘CZECH SNOW SPORTS’ in No.743 of March 1969.
