Summary
Flying Fortresses of the RAF take off at night for Hamburg and aerial shots of the bombardment and fires resulting from our assault. By day the USAAF (United States Army Air Force) B17s head out for Hamburg and proceed to pound it. Wreckage of the British night raid is evident. Still photographs after the raids show the size of the destruction.
