Summary
MacArthur with two of his officers discusses plans for the destruction of Lae. He watches troops boarding transport planes, as a gigantic air fleet is assembled. Dakotas take off from a New Guinea base and MacArthur gets into his Fortress plane to watch mass parachute drop over Lae. Australians who have fought their way overland are joined by US airborne forces.
