Summary
British long-range guns at Hell Fire Corner in Dover open up on German strong points at Boulogne. Shells are seen bursting in the distance. Lancaster bombers over Boulogne then add their quota of destruction. Flail and flame-throwing Churchill tanks move along road to blast enemy out of Boulogne. Ruined streets bear witness to the pounding they have received. Royal Engineers erect Bailey bridges to replace those that have been destroyed. German POWs captured at Calais, many having manned the V1 sites, are transported to prison camps.
