Summary
Buffalo tanks with bren gun carriers on board, drive through flooded areas. In the heavily wooded country between Cleve and Goch British gunners hammer away at enemy resistance. Thousands of Germans are taken prisoner, guarded by a small amount of British soldiers. Last stages of mopping-up in Cleve. To cover the advance into Gennup, a small town to the south west of Cleve, smoke bombs were used. Street fighting takes place and a British soldier is seen to be hit by German sniper. Sniper seen at window.
