Summary
Wrecked V2 rockets in a forest mark the end of this terror weapon that killed or injured more than 9,000 people in London, East Anglia and the southern counties. Scenes show Chelsea Hospital which was hit in January 1945, Stroud Green and Smithfield Market. Admiral Evans of the Broke whose job as London’s Regional Commissioner is now done, is seen walking among workmen clearing the site at Smithfield.
