- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Contraband Control Story. DESCRIPTION: The Navy enforces the blockade of Germany, boarding every neutral ship which might be carrying contraband goods. SHOTLIST: A neutral ship is stopped and the boarding party inspect the cargo. On the quayside are piled stocks of confiscated goods. Government Institute Control of Contraband - CARD 38204A A Proclamation is read in the City of the Government’s intention to control all contraband cargoes. This is followed by the usual shots of ships stopped by patrol, cargo examined and goods stored up in the harbours.
