- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mine Destruction. DESCRIPTION: Daily men of the Navy risk their lives to put out of action the German mines which are washed up onto our beaches. SHOTLIST: Commander Edwards walks along the coast towards the mine. He leaves all metal articles behind and then with his men he removes the horns, detonators etc., and finally the explosive which is burnt on the sea-shore.
