- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Don Bradman’s Record. DESCRIPTION: In Melbourne Don Bradman notches up a record thirty-fourth double century in first class cricket. SHOTLIST: South Australia v Victoria at Melbourne. Percy Beames scores freely off Klose and Clarrie Grimmett. Scott bowls his fastest to Bradman when Victoria takes the field but Bradman and Badcock are undaunted. He finally breaks the record by scoring his 34th double century before getting out.
