- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HMS "Achilles" in New Zealand. DESCRIPTION: New Zealand’s participation in the Battle of the River Plate arrives back in Auckland to a heroes welcome. SHOTLIST: Various shots of the cruiser travelling into port. She berths and Captain Parry says a few words about the Plate engagement. A cat is displayed he went right through the engagement. They are welcomed and kissed by their kinfolk. Then the officers and men march through the streets which are lined with crowds.
