Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bombardment and Machine Gun Car. DESCRIPTION: M Reynaud strengthens his Government, as the French population comes under more attacks. British tanks move up through Normandy to oppose the advancing Germans. SHOTLIST: A church is completely in ruins as are various houses. A cemetery, too has been completely destroyed. On the roads nearby is the wreck of a German Machine gun (armoured) car. One shot shows a statue of a French soldier of the last war holding up a wreath. In the background are ruins. Tanks On Parade - CARD 39155 Shots of the tanks and of their cannon and machine gun turret. The tanks advance and fire. Various shots.
